I am new to all this and I was hopeing someone out there could help me? I am interested in learning about sim rounds. What thay do, how they work, whare I can get some, what they work in, anything you know or have herd about them, or stories you have had with them. anything will be a biggggggg help

Tue, September 12, 2006 - 3:56 PMI am not sure exactly what you are talking about. If you are talking about "simulation" rounds that are used by the infantry for training excercises, then what you are talking about is actually just blank rounds.
The infantry training tool that is used is called "Miles Gear" it is like hi-tech lazer tag. You have "hit" sensors placed around your body and a firing lazer that potentially hit other wearers. Here is an article on the technology developed in 93'.
